The Groupe Maillard Industrie (GMI) recently held a Long-Service Awards Ceremony in Autechaux to recognize seven employees for their years of service, loyalty and commitment to the Group. Held in the presence of Jean-Yves Brunella, Mayor of Autechaux, the event provided an opportunity to celebrate professional careers spanning more than 30 years.
Surrounded by colleagues and company representatives, the seven recipients received their awards from Éric Maillard, President of Groupe Maillard Industrie, and Jean-Yves Brunella.
Five employees received the Vermeil Long-Service Medal for 30 years of service and two employees received the Gold Long-Service Medal for 35 years of service.
Through these awards, GMI wished above all to recognize their careers, professionalism and contribution to the Group’s development over the years.
During the ceremony, Éric Maillard also reflected on the demanding economic environment currently facing industrial companies: rising costs, a slowdown in certain European markets, particularly the automotive sector, and increasing competition.
In response to these challenges, GMI relies on rigorous management, an agile organization and the commitment of its teams, with one constant objective: to control costs while maintaining a high level of quality and service for its customers.
The Group’s President also highlighted GMI’s main strengths: the complementarity of its industrial expertise, its integrated engineering capabilities, the flexibility of its teams and its strong diversification across multiple sectors.
This diversification strategy, developed over more than three decades, now enables the Group to support customers across a wide range of sectors, including construction, handling and supply chain, marine, agricultural machinery, road signage, special-purpose vehicles and defence, a market in which GMI has been active for more than 40 years.
Thanks to the complementarity of its expertise, particularly in plastics processing, mechanical welding and engineering, the Group is able to design and industrialize a wide variety of solutions: pumping stations and rainwater recovery tanks, supply chain equipment, buoys and pontoons, welded chassis, metal supports, road-signalling equipment, tanks and assemblies for specialist applications.
This multi-sector presence enables GMI to reduce its dependence on any single market while seizing new opportunities in France and internationally, particularly through its subsidiaries in India and the Czech Republic.
At the same time, GMI continues to invest in training and the development of professional skills, particularly in technical trades and welding, in order to preserve and strengthen the expertise that is essential to its activities.
Beyond industrial performance, Éric Maillard also reiterated the three core values that underpin the Group’s development: respect, commitment and loyalty.

The ceremony reflected a strong conviction at Groupe Maillard Industrie: the skills, experience and commitment of the women and men within the Group are among the key foundations of its long-term success and development.
